Schedule a Good Talk
Could coaching be right for you?
A Good Talk is a 30-minute conversation with Scott, at no charge and with no obligation. It is an opportunity to discuss what you are navigating, what you want to accomplish, and whether coaching can serve you.
30 minutes. No charge. No obligation.
What to expect
A useful first conversation, without pressure.
You can arrive with a clear objective or simply a sense that something needs attention. Questions about what coaching is and how it works are welcome.
Scott will explore
- What prompted you to reach out.
- What you would like to change, resolve, or accomplish.
- Why it matters now.
- What meaningful progress could look like.
- Whether coaching is an appropriate resource.
- Whether there is a strong enough foundation for productive coaching.
What happens next
The objective and fit determine the next step.
If coaching appears appropriate and both people believe the fit is strong, Scott will recommend a next step based on the objective, context, and likely need for continuity.
That may be a three, six, or twelve-month coaching engagement, a five-session coaching series, or a standalone coaching session. If another kind of support seems more appropriate, Scott will recommend it.
Before choosing a time
A brief intake helps make the conversation useful.
The intake will ask for:
- Your name and contact information.
- Your city and time zone.
- Your current role and organization.
- What prompted you to schedule and what you would like to change, resolve, or accomplish.
- Whether your interest is primarily Executive Coaching, Career Coaching, both, or still unclear.
- Your previous experience with professional coaching.
- Anything else Scott should know before the conversation.
Scheduling
Complete the intake, then choose a time.
The scheduling calendar will display available times and should reflect your local time zone. Engagement duration and format are discussed after the initial conversation if coaching appears useful.
A final reassurance
Let's talk about what is on your mind.
Bring the decision, challenge, or possibility you have been thinking about. A Good Talk is a no-charge, no-obligation conversation with Scott about what is happening and whether coaching could be useful.
